I’m Stephen Sheehan from Dublin and I’ve been working in International Finance for the past 20 years. I’ve had loads of roles across global markets, securities, liquidity, collateral and cash management. I learned the nuts and bolts of operational banking in my formative years. Of late I’ve been applying my recent learnings in Future Commerce and Fintech having recently graduated from MIT.

I have a deep desire to encourage more international business to Dublin. I lead the migration and set up of the Securities Finance business in Dublin whilst at Citi and coordinated the grant aid negotiations with the Irish Development Authority (IDA) for the set up of the Depository business.

The start up environment in Dublin is thriving and that’s across most sectors. I really want to see that continue and be part of Ireland/s continued growth in financial services.
